Hip Fest 2019
the very first edition of Hip Fest International puppet Festival (Iceland) called for us to design and fully produce an animated ident. We combined scenes in Stop-Motion animation with miniature marionettes to create a dreamlike atmosphere.

During this period they created a handful of delicate felt puppets. a bunch of fragile looking characters that remind a bit of Francis Bacon saw the light of day.

when the locally famous Canteclaer procession of Deinze will roll out in 2027, it will include the breathing version of it's town icon: the black double headed eagle. We are developing this creature on a pretty large scale to perform on the street, with some hidden tricks up it's sleeve...

Milly's Moonmission
Milly's Moonmission is a play, based on the children's book by Duncan Beedie, produced by Theater Wortel. When the theatre approached us to design and create puppets and sets, we were eager to get involved. handpuppets, rodpuppets, silhouette puppets and even a marionette were created by puppet prototyping, under the critical look of Master/Director Paul Contryn.

Theo - the Series
The characters from the lovely books by Stefan Boonen and Melvin are about to star in a television series of their own! We are developing a new puppet-technique and visual style to match the original dynamic illustrations.

Heritage Flanders
the project that started it all. Invited by the Flemish Government we dedicated research on the (local) theatrepuppet in all of its forms. Over a two-year period we dived into a wonderful world and got so much wiser. We also created new puppets in various materials and got into restoration.

the Imaginarium of dr. Parnassus
